In this case, you could just write
Iliad.Widget subclass: LocalizedWidget [
GuiStrings := LookupTable new.
...
]
and it should work. At least it did with
Object subclass: SomeClass3 [
SomeClassVar := LookupTable new.
look [
SomeClassVar inspect
]
]
SomeClass3 new look
