Hi everybody,
I am trying to install smalltalk-3.2
<https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/smalltalk/smalltalk-3.2.tar.gz> from the GNU
ftp server on my machine (Linux Mint 22, x86-64) – would like to get it
all running including the GTK st-browser.
But I am already stuck at the make step:
libtool: link: cannot find name of link library for
`/home/************/smalltalk-3.2/libc.la'

make[2]: Verzeichnis „/home/***********/smalltalk-3.2“ wird verlassen

The file ./smalltalk-3.2/libc.la does exist.
Can you please give me some helping pointers? Thanks very much!
