I don't think so, though: the make install should install the lang.map
you actually modified (then you might miss the corresponding .lang file
if it wasn't installed, but the lang.map should be the one you
modified...). Are you sure you modified the lang.map in the source 'src'
directory, and not in the build directory?


Yes, 100% sure.
And adding the .lang file to Makefile.am doesn't seem to help.
You can try it yourself :)

Anyway I don't care much about it now. I want to focus on writing the
.lang file.

I did it yesterday and it works perfectly for me :)
I'm afraid something might have gotten spoiled in your configuration; you might want to try with a fresh build.
