Hi Karl,
An observation -- it appears that @node is OK with accent commands
such as @'o, @'a, @'e, but @node with @,{c} (cedilla) fails.
Enclosing the offending word in { } e.g. {equa@,[EMAIL PROTECTED] doesn't help.
Including the command line argument --commands-in-node-names doesn't help.
For what it's worth the makeinfo error messages are "Misplaced {"
and "Unknown command `'".
As it happens the @,{c} is very common in Portuguese. I wonder
what needs to be done to make @node happy with that.
As a stop-gap measure, I guess all instances of @,{c} can be
replaced by รง -- makeinfo and texi2html seem happy with that.
I'm guessing texi2dvi doesn't like that, although I can't tell for
sure because texi2dvi is unhappy with a lot of things. :(
Thanks a lot for any information.
Robert Dodier
