You should use "info --apropos" instead. That searches the index entries, and so is much more likely to find the issue you are looking for than a brute-force search for words. Maintainers of GNU manual put a lot of effort into providing good end extensive index entries that cover every subject discussed in a manual, so searching indices is much more efficient. I suggest to try it.
