Hello, may I ask you for your support when using the plugin check_http? We are using this plugin in script for a opsview-check and was working fine over many years for specific http-calls. Recently there was a change in our infrastructure and we have to go via a proxy and a proxy-user to made the http-calls.
Unfortunately we get an error when using the proxy: The invocation is: ./check_http -I "OUR-PROXY" -p PROXY-PORT -b 'PORXY_USER;PASSWORD' -H HOST -S -j CONNECT -u URL -vvv and get: Entering CONNECT tunnel mode with proxy OUR-PROXY:PROXY-PORT to dst HOST:443 CONNECT HOST:443 HTTP/1.1 User-Agent: check_http/v2.1.1 (monitoring-plugins 2.1.1) Proxy-Connection: keep-alive Host: HOST Receive response from proxy HTTP/1.1 407 authenticationrequired Can you please give us a hint what is wrong with this invocation. Why is the authentication with -b ignored?
