Hi Danny,

Since this doc is going to be used frequently for reference, it might be good
to define everything once and for all and leave nothing for the obvious. That
way there will be much less of a need to re-figure any of these things out.
With this motivation, here are my comments:

  * In equation 3, N is not defined. What is the origin of or citation for 2
and N-1 in this equation?
  * In equation 3, what is R(V)? Is it real(V)? Then why does the LHS mention
imag?
  * Citations or source for equations 6 and 7 will make this very
self-contained
  * What is meant by 1D and 3D Raleigh-Jeans law? Not sure if it is standard
terminology.

Thanks,
Nithya

Subject: Tsys memo

Hi All,

Here is a short memo listing system temperatures found as a part of various EoR
analysis methods and in different telescopes.

http://reionization.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Tsys_memo_v1.pdf

For clarity there is also a laboriously exacting derivation of how the system
temperature is measured from visibilities; putting in place all the various 2s
in their places.

Please circulate and let me know if you catch any errors or want a number
updated.

Cheers,
~Danny
