Maybe it was installed as recommended on the heroku blog (http:// blog.heroku.com/archives/2007/11/23/ yamldb_for_databaseindependent_data_dumps/)
script/plugin install http://opensource.heroku.com/svn/rails_plugins/yaml_db Seems it would be good to remove the old version or synch it somehow. Facebooker had the same issue when they moved the repository and forgot about all of the dependencies. It took a post to the tutorial before it was revealed that the version that worked was on github. Maybe the thing to do is modify plugin so that a forward can be recognized, even if only so a message stating where the new code is located can be presented. Useful plugin though.
