hey Tobin,

same problem here.  I just assumed since I was running in production
mode that things weren't getting logged.

But when I switch to dev mode, I do find a log/production.log and it
has the error I needed.

Might be worth just adding an action to one f your controllers to grab
that file when its your user account.
