hey guys,

My minor issue of the day: For an app with low traffic, there seems to
be a significant delay in responding to a request when an app hasn't
had requests for awhile.

I figure this is due to the app having to be started or loaded into
memory as it doesn't makes sense to devote resources to apps that are
inactive most of the time.

The problem is that the reload takes too long for a Facebook app and
Facebook tells the user to try again. Is there a way to get a
different response, perhaps something that I could configure? I'd
like to give the user a message like "Loading your learning
environment" or something that conveys that things are normal, then
reload the page somehow (which I will take care of myself).

Is there such functionality available or could there be in the
future? It would make heroku 0.584 % sweeter :-)

thanks
al
