No. Heroku has a custom patched rails specifically for their service.
In most cases it is compatible with the upstream rails, but there are
still some snags the Heroku team's working out.

Yes. But as I'm not an employee, I'm not privvy to the 'when'.
Adam, James, Orion & Morden are doing their best to get this stuff up
and running in a reasonable timeframe, but you must keep in mind they
have a whole system built around the framework to manage as well.

(Hey Adam, you need to add poor Morden to the About page! Don't
neglect him! XD XD )
