For my discussion of browser-based development tools at LFNW'09
( http://www.linuxfestnorthwest.org/2009.html ), I discussed and
screencap'd the process of building web applications, from 0 to
deployment, in the browser.

One of my two videos demonstrates the basic features of HerokuGarden,
building a Ruby on Rails application with the following features:
(1) a user management system, including self-registration and capture
of user email addresses.
(2) a method of logging 'trips', a distance, travel method, and
purpose.
(2) a rapid summary of user and trip statistics.

This application is based around the function of the Whatcom County
Smart Trips application; whatcomsmarttrips.org
