Hey, I have this problem too and would love to hear a solution. My
workaround is to run this command in the heroku console...

ActiveRecord::Base.connection.execute("update table_name set
field_name = REPLACE(field_name, '\\\\012', '\n');")

...but it would be much better to find out what's going wrong in the
db push.
