I'm running a Merb app and would like to use New Relic. Currently, I can do this myself - i.e. add it to my app as a gem dependency - rather than via the Add On (as that is Rails only, apparently) but I'm concerned that this might not work right across multiple dynos. That plus the fact the Bronze level of New Relic is part of the Heroku setup makes me ask whether there are plans for direct New Relic Merb support? If not, am I likely to have any issues with the manual gem install?
