There are a number of issues [1] [2] [3] with heroku gem failures due to the dependency on json-1.1.0. There are not yet any clarifying responses as to why a more recent version of json can not be used.
The heroku gem used to install and work fine for my setup up through 1.5.2, but every version since then appears to be broken. Anyone know what's going on? I've little time to debug this issue and am trying to determine whether it's my system-specific issue or something else.
