A friend wants me to write a quick sample site for him. He wants to buy a domain name (ie not me), he never did that before. He just asked me where I will be hosting. Does it matter where he buys the domain name? Can I do everything through Heroku for him? Initially he wanted to give me the info he received from his registra and have me connect up my app on Heroku to his domain.
Is there a simple minded recipe for doing this? What info does he need to give me? If the site becomes popular and you need to charge him I don't want to be charged, how to I transfer my app on Heroku to him? Though I guess this is getting a little ahead of myself.
