After learning more about HTTP caching in the Heroku docs, I went ahead and set up Varnish on my development machine to measure the performance gains from using HTTP caching on some parts of our app.
Unfortunately, my local testing was of limited use because I'm not sure exactly how Varnish is configured on Heroku. Is there any way that you guys could publish your Varnish configuration? That way, I could set up Varnish accurately for local testing. As it is, I need to push to our staging server in order to test that caching is working correctly. Thanks!
