sure if associating a domain with heroku would also grab the mx records.

your dns mx records to point to the mail system you use and your mail
can be handled completely separate from the Heroku setup. Google apps is

I'm not talking about app-generated email, but about email traffic to
and from individual developers in the company, written and read on
whatever email client they use. (In practice, incoming emails would be
forwarded to gmail or similar.)
