We're using Heroku + MongoHQ. This morning we had a performance dip. Some simple transactions took 30+ seconds instead of the usual 1/10s. I have New Relic (silver) and it pointed me at the slow transaction. But it didn't tell me what was taking so long within the request.
I am looking at some advice of what to put in production to analyze this kind of situations. In this case, I'd like to hear what people have in place that can point to the root cause of a slow-down?
