We are pushing several times a day to production. Right now there's a noticeable delay of a few seconds (although no failure) for our applications when this happens. This is because the app takes some time to warm up, connect to the databases and do other initialization logic.
We can technically run two versions of the app in parallel - our back- end is MongoDB and schema is not an issue. Can Heroku do this for us? Can it have another mode of swapping instances than terminate all -> start all and do a rolling upgrade instead?
