I tried cloud9 IDE and was able to make changes and push directly to heroku. I found it very cool as an emergency "I'm not at my machine, but need to make a quick fix" tool, but not something I'd want to do as part of my regular dev cycle. (yes, even with the concept of pushing to a staging server first. I'd still prefer to run and test things locally, but that's just me)
