I'm not sure what would cause this. You can bash into a dyno to see what is in your slug:
heroku run bash

One option... The sledgehammer approach is to just destroy and recreate the database:
heroku addons:remove shared-database
heroku addons:add shared-database

Let me know if that helps.

I am trying to deploy to Heroku a very simple Play! 2.0 application. And
I have a very plain evolution sql that needs to run.

Initially I had a typo in the sql file. Locally on H2 it was fine,
however Postgresql on Heroku didn't like it. I fixed the typo (and also
changed everything to lowercase) and then commited and pushed the changes.

However Heroku still complains of the contents of the old sql file.
Which confuses me.

The evolution file is up to date in git (verified on github
https://github.com/flurdy/shoppinglist/blob/master/conf/evolutions/default/1.sql
<https://github.com/flurdy/shoppinglist/blob/master/conf/evolutions/default/1.sql>).

How is the old evolution still remembered by Play on Heroku?

Am I doing Evolutions wrong? Perhaps my typo correction should have been
in 2.sql? But why does it matter, I am dropping all tables anyway. Does
Play or Heroku do something magical with git history for evolutions?
