Hi, I have several applications using rails 3.2 on heroku cedar stack and have not detected any problem.
I use config.assets.initialize_on_**precompile = false, however I do not have any manifest.yml file locally. Try deleting all the assets stuff in the public directory. The contents of my public directory looks like this: public |-404.html |-422.html |-500.html |-favicon.ico |-robots.txt Unfortunately my repositories are not public, and I have not updated my public rails template. Let me know if you succed or if you need more information. Meanwhile I will try to create a new barebones app and publish it on github.
