Thanks for replying. No I that runs too late. The includes have to include the exact contents of my other jsp pages, as my app is a single page app. It has to to include the exact text in the file, not the included file rendered then included.
Rendering the jsp then including it is what <jsp:include….> does? Which is definitely NOT what I want or need. It is the <%@ include…> that will copy the exact file contents directly into the file. And no, I won't copy paste what is in the other jsp files I am <%@ including…> because they should be separated for maintenance. I don't want a huge single jsp file, that is just bad design.
