Yeah, I figured I'd try to get it compiling locally on my Linux machine and once that's working maybe try using a tool like anvil ( https://github.com/heroku/anvil) to compile on Heroku. I tried vulcan last week and ran into some issues with that. Thanks so much for your help. I've been having a slow and unproductive conversation with Heroku support for a week.
