I think that's a great idea for an add-on, however our acceptance policy is 
more based around your ability as a provider to serve customers with a 
great experience rather than filling in a particular gap in the Marketplace.

We assess your ability to build a great product and handle customer support 
through an extended Alpha/Beta process so you have time to see how it all 
works. I'd encourage you to make the CouchDB add-on and submit and take it 
from there.
