Greetings,

I apologize for the delay in answering, I've been a ... touch busy
lately.

One wonders what happens if you take 2 inches off of each of your walls,
so instead of being 4x8 they are 4x7'10". This allows for the roof to
lip over the edge, and give you a place to fasten on your gutters.

For a standard hexayurt, I'd say probably something like treated canvas
and a p-shaped clip, or something like:

to collect the water in.

Conversely, if you add a line of flexible, vulcanized rubber between the
edges of the roof section, not only do you get a more durable corner
that is less likely to moop on you, but it also allows you to fold them
more easily. It does mean that you need something in the center (we're
using a hub with a removable plug for the stove-pipe so it can be
heated, without the heat actually touching the theoretically flammable
materials. But it also means you get the overhang that you can then
attach your gutter to.
