I'll be taking a 6' stretch or 8' to the playa this year. While I'm still figuring out my needs, I wanted to ask for advice: how beneficial is it to bevel the edges?
On the plus side, I foresee better heat and sound insulation since there's an inch of insulation in all of the joints instead of just a piece of tape. On the minus side, those acute edges might get dinged up in transport. There's also the additional build time; we're adding several additional cuts. Let's see... 12 cuts (6 walls * 2 cuts for each wall-wall) 12 cuts (6 roof panels * 2 cuts for each roof-roof) 6 cuts (6 walls * 1 cut for each wall-roof) ------ 30 cuts total Finally, those all need to be 30° cuts, right?
