First off, thank you for sharing your knowledge/design with the community. It is great for the desert but I think that the possibilities for disaster relief are amazing!
I am going through the process of making my order checklist and I want to confirm total before ordering. I plan on building the 8ft 12 board model to take out to BRC and want to make sure I order enough tape without going overboard. I have read several different discussions on the matter and from what I understand I will need 4- 60ft rolls, is this correct? My main question is how much of this is for covering edges and how much of it is for construction? Also, is it possible/recommended/not-recommended to use a thinner tape than the 6in to cover the edges? My other main question (since I figure you have heard all of the options by now) is what is the prefered location/amount of vents to be used? Any help on these matters would be fantastic! I look forward to making this my once a year home for a long time to come and to help share the knowledge I gain in the process to help others.
