I'd really love that, seeing a hexayurt factory at Burning Man HQ. Now, let me put out a shout out for Thermax HD, which will likely make a 10 year plus lifespan hexayurt. It's just like the regular polyiso material, but with a really tough (think coke can thickness) metal skin on both sides.
I believe the minimum purchase is about 5 hexayurt's worth, and it is available - some people did a buy a year or two ago? How have those yurts been, folks? Reduced fire risk and much, much better environmental performance because they'll last and last and last. Since you are in SF, perhaps you can go down and talk to the BMORG and they may be able to help you on space. i figure, if you volunteer to help the build the man, then perhaps there is an extra corner of the warehouse to do the hexayurt building / storage. Just a thought... :-) On Thu, Jun 23, 2011 at 12:33 PM, Cody Firestone <[email protected]> wrote: > you should all look at the Playatech website also. they have EXCELLENT > furniture made from plywood that breaks down very small.
