The quad dome is is a spinoff from the hexayurt concept - a nearodesic that produces 0 waste. (ok, we came up with 1/2 a panel left over, in theory, but I think in reality we'll need that extra piece somewhere.) We decided to go for it this year. Here's the plan. *http://tinyurl.com/3emxvkb* Wondering if anyone else is trying this at Burning Man this year?? Has tried it before? Haven't decided on a way to strap it to the playa yet. Probably just cross over the top three times to keep it from getting pushed around. Possibly put tape "guides" near the top to run rope through to keep it in place and not have to pierce the outside or run tape anchors from one side to the other. P.S. In the name of radical self reliance, we're bringing a tent also. :)
