I'm also interested in more info on making a rope halo - I've not been able to find much info online so far.
I was planning to use a loop of 550 paracord for the rope halo, secured with 3x ratcheting tie-downs and 3x buckle tie downs. Does this sound about right?? Its gonna be a bit more expensive than just using rope, but I figure the ratcheting tie-downs will save some time on construction and make adjustments easy.
