Hey Dan, I'm not one to determine if it's pushing it too far or not, but I do wonder if the distribution of weight and tension makes it stabile like a hexayurt -- have you looked into that?
Something else: I intend to install a "plastic bottle lighting" in my own H12 hexayurt soonish, so if you - or anyone else for that matter - have any advice on installing it, I'll happily receive it ;) (and post my experience and photos after installing).
