Should add one more question:

Assuming you were using a (cemented-over) sandbag foundation ring (instead
of a footer), how would (or do) you tie the yurts down? What securely holds
them in place and keeps them from losing their footing while being buffeted
by high winds?

(Or same question if you ARE using traditional footer for them.)
