The photo for this isn't working. My pal probably has a better rain solution than mine. He cuts a notch into the 4x8 wall at the point of the tight hinge, and will cut open the tape ring only to drain if needed for rain. Way more simple than my overbuilt tube situation, and way more adjustable to the weather (ie: no hole in the tape ring unless you need it....be sure to be home when the rain starts.) He then jams a piece of PVC cut in half lengthwise...from the underside/inside of the hinge/yurt and it drains thru this notch...to act as the funnel. Yes, this might allow in a little dust.....actually looks pretty dust proof. But get over it. it's just dust. you can tape the tape-ring back together when the rain stops.
