and really-- as odd as it sounds-- I'd never use the styrofoam at under 
1.5". Even if your r max was 1"....this stuff wouldn't be so good at such a 
thin width. If you have to use a mix of boards, use the extra styrofoam 
pieces on the walls, and make them 1.5 inches. Janky, yes-- but it'll work 
better.
