Folks, I just want to raise a gentle warning about commercial hexayurt activity on list.
Clearly quite a lot of people are coming looking for hexayurts here, and for people selling hexayurts, it's a great place to find customers and make their progress visible. I'm for all of that, although I think clear BUY: and SELL: tags at the start of messages might be useful if people want to use them. I just want to be sure that as we approach the burn things remain cordial, civil and polite. We got through this very successfully with the tape guys - several vendors on list, one or two hot incidents handled without much bruising, and a healthy equilibrium. I think things are fine as they are, but let's try and keep it on an even keel through the burn, when schedules get tight, deliveries get messed up, and tempers may fray. If needs be, a hexayurt "buy / sell / trade" list might be the way to go, but before I do that, let's see how this year goes.
