Neem oil may also work. It's organic and safe if you don't drink the stuff; see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neem_oil#Toxicity .
You'll find the best value buying a concentrate at a farm-supply or gardening store but Home Despot and the like also have it pre-mixed in spray bottles.
