I figured this out while I was building my first hexayurt over the last
couple weeks. It has probably been posted before, but I hadn't ever seen
it, so I figured I'd post it for other first-timers.

The pointy ends of the roof pieces are pretty fragile, when cutting,
moving, etc. We took foot-long pieces of sheet rock corners (the
light-weight metal angles, about an inch on each side. and taped it along
the side hear the point. Very sturdy now and only added a bit of weight.

We set up our H18 at UNSCruz regional burn over the weekend, and it was
great. We decided to cut a foot off the bottom before we go to BRC to make
it 7' on the sides. A bit of waste this way, but figured it would be more
stable and easier to set up, without much loss of roominess.
