Tarps have let me down. Putting a few tarps on top of a solid, lightweight
panel makes sense to me. I lost a "storage" unit that was a metal frame
covered with light tent type fabric. The covering ripped itself to shreds
within minutes of a storm with 75 mph gusts. The frame was held too loosely
by metal rods with hooks to maintain the integrity of the rectangular
walls. Wind blew so hard against that stretchy fabric, hooks turned into
scissors, ripping more than half the roof off. If that "fabric" had been
propped up with smooth-sided panels, I think it might have been okay.
