An important thing to consider with Hexayurt designs is that there is NO definitive plan. (Yet) This was something I believe Vinay encouraged as it would create variation, experimentation and decentralization of Hexayurt designs. I have built three Hexayurts over the years (H12 and H5) out of 1/2" ply and an abstract two story H18 using Thermax. With each one I would start with a scale model, then scale it up and start building with some trial and error..
