I'd love to come to such a gathering, though I don't yet play the
hurdy-gurdy; had actually planned to go to the OTW Festival this fall after
reading about it for years. Unfortunately, when I was finally in a position
to make the trip, I had open-heart surgery in July that made travel
problematical for an unspecified length of time and effectively stopped my
earning any money for at least 3 months. So, as delightful as it would be to
come to a gathering closer to home and costing less (I live in West
Virginia), I'm not going to be able to manage it this year. Good luck and I

Hi all,
I believe we have a potential to have a hurdy gurdy gathering up here in
a lovely camp on Lake Wentworth in Wolfeboro, NH on Sept. 22-24. I am
envisioning a smallish gathering; the camp sleeps 10, I think. Cost would
be somewhat dependent on how many people want to come, but I am thinking it
might be around $75 per person.
Please drop me a line offlist if you are interested in coming, so I can
start planning if there is enough interest.
