"Beizen" is stain. I use water-colour, it does not run as deep into the wood as alcoholic stain. It is a coloured powder whis has to be dissolved in warm water, mixed to your favorite colour and diluted to the "right" intensity.
Zweite, I thought you mean "stain" but figured i'd better check. I blame the translation tools.

Can I get a copy?
I started on Kapitel 3 because i was looking for some specific answers, I'm up to page 82. About the Klappergeräushe. ( I can't ever seem to umlaut over e-mail, but I keep trying. ) I intend to wrap around and get the first part , then edit for English. So a copy is pending, maybe by Mardi Gras, but maybe by Oktoberfest. By "edit for English", sometimes the grammer is not very clear from the tools ( I use Google Language tools on my Mac, Babelfish on a PC. ) Both make the same mistakes, for example "wirbel" always comes out "Eddy" but I'd say "peg". and then on page 82, first paragraph "Bei zu lockeren tasten sind ein......." I get :"With to loose keys a later Intonieren (intonation?) and a clean pure play are with difficulty possible," which gets there, eventually, but I had to think about it a bit. So your first copy is probably going to have large letters scribbled on it: "IS THIS WHAT YOU MEANT?" Thanks, Roy
