Hello, hurdy gurdy people,
I'm caught up with an enthusiam for hurdy gurdies for the second time
in a couple of years. A hurdy gurdy player appeared briefly in Ithaca but she
moved to New York and took the hurdy gurdy with her. But I tried it once and
was delighted. The price being a bit (well, guite) formidable and hurdy
gurdies elusive, I haven't followed up on this interest. Now I'm thinking
something
must be done. Matthew Szostak suggested that someone might know of a hurdy
gurdy player in the Ithaca or Finger Lakes area, someone who might let me try
out
their hurdy gurdy and possibly give advice in the early learning process.

I do go to NYC and Kingston, Ontario sometimes.
