I've built a number of instruments (winds, percussion) from EMS kits, and found
them responsive to the missing parts problem. Give them a call and ask -- the
worst that can happen is they can't send you the parts.
Or you could try the Renaissance Workshop Company
(http://www.masterkit.com/rwc/) who I believe is the actual manufacturer of the
kit.

I picked up an EMS renaissance HG kit a while back and now find myself
