To echo what Matt has said-
Yes, I've heard from about 20 people at this point. So there's definite
interest. I've also heard from Daniel Frank in western mass who was/is
planning something similar. I hope to coordiate our efforts - if you don't
hear anything for a while, don't despair - I think this will be a Spring
thing and we will definitely be sending out more info as it gets closer to
the time and we have some specifics. If for some reason, the whole project
should get cancelled, I will post that info to the list. (Don't anticipate

Hi all-
I have been watching with interest Jocelyn's early attempts at organizing
a hurdy-gurdy gathering of sorts at her home in Massachusetts. I have
been in touch with her about helping to plan and organize it.
This seems like a good time to remind anyone who is interested in
attending or participating in hurdy-gurdy related events in New England
that I maintain a small list of email contacts for just such
notifications. There are some on my list who choose not to subscribe to
this list (although I don't know why!), so it serves a need.
I know there are some new players in the area lurking here who aren't on
my local list - if you would like me to add you to it, please contact me
off-list (this list!) and let me know.
