You are about halfway between me (near Marengo/Woodstock IL) and Dennis Sherman
(in Chicago).
There is going to be a Chicago-area hurdy gurdy get-together on April 14th.

of fun!
Another thing to consider, if you can't make the April 14th event, would be
getting together with Dennis or me or both of us sometime. I'm in Chicago most
Thursday evenings for Morris dancing practice, but sometimes practice is
canceled and Dennis and I get together.
Also, I get together with several people most Wednesdays from 1:00 to 4:00 in
Marengo or Woodstock to play music; if that fits your schedule, please let me
know. I'll put you on our e-mail list.
