Dear friends, instrument makers and musicians,
Various individualists and charismatic personalities
of the hurdy-gurdy scene are connected through joining a passion,
their surch for the unique sound of the hurdy-gurdy and
the fascination of this remarkable instrument.
It´s my vision, to create a platform for musicians,
who devote their attention to the hurdy-gurdy,
it´s sound and it´s possiblities.
The symposium should build the basis for a dynamic network
to enable mutual inspiration and the exchange of impulses.

Liebe Freunde Instrumentenbauer und Musiker,
zahlreiche Individualisten und charismatische Persönlichkeiten der
Drehleierszene
sind durch eine gemeinsame Leidenschaft,ihre Suche
nach dem einzigartigen Klang der Drehleier und die Faszination
dieses außergewöhnlichen Instruments miteinander verbunden.
Meine Vision ist es, eine Plattform für Musiker zu schaffen,
welche sich intensiv mit der Drehleier, ihrem Klang und ihren Möglichkeiten
Beschäftigen.
Im Rahmen dieses Symposiums soll die Basis für ein dynamisches Netzwerk
geschaffen werden,
welches gegenseitige Inspiration und den Austausch von Impulsen ermöglicht.
