You're referring to Pelican cases. My flatback fits in a Peli 1660, the luteback also but I had to remove the foam in the lid. The cases are extremely strong (and not cheap). To avoid dents in the lid when, for instance, flying, I put two supports (steel tube with a plate welded on both sides) next to each side of the HG. This avoids the lid pushing down on the HG.
