I use it mainly by painting one brush stroke onto the string to give the rosin
coat needed to hold the cotton in place .

It can also be used on the wheel by touching the brush onto the rotating wheel
rim.

Each brushload seems to coat one brush width over the circumference and it
does give a very even and smooth rosin layer. The rim can then be polished with
a piece of linen or suchlike.

If you are having problems here, it's probably due to your liquid rosin being
too concentrated. The amount of rosin in my solution is almost homeopathic!

    Hi all
I appreciate this site is not an advertising medium but Alice Wallace
suggested the US members might be interested to know that self and wife are
coming over to LA on the 16th for 3 weeks and I could easily bring over some of
the products mentioned at http://www.hurdy-gurdy.org.uk/accessories.html The
postage would then only be US internal and so the prices would be as per the
site.
Anyone interested please mail me direct.
    Cheers
